At Shay Floral, we are more than just flowers. We are a floral and plant design boutique in Hernando, Florida offering custom arrangements, potted plants and wedding and event floral services. While most florists use wire services, we are a local shop and do not use them, allowing us to focus on thoughtful, custom designs.

Floral, Plant & Gift Delivery

We deliver floral arrangements throughout Citrus County, FL, and provide wedding and event florals across Central Florida and beyond. Our daily delivery areas now include Beverly Hills, Black Diamond, Crystal River, Citrus Hills, Citrus Springs, Inverness, Lecanto, and Pine Ridge.

Wedding & Event Floral Design

We provide full-service wedding and event floral design across Central Florida and beyond - including bouquets, centerpieces, and custom arch installations. We also provide a selection of rental items such as votives, candles, arches, columns, and more. A minimum of $2,500 is required for travel events.

Owner & Lead Designer, Jon

I am a Florida-based floral designer with a background in fashion, interiors, and event styling. Originally from West Virginia, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Fairmont State University and spent over a decade in the luxury retail industry, working with brands such as Christian Louboutin and Nordstrom.

Driven by a deep appreciation for artful design and natural beauty, I pursued formal training at the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Oregon. Since then, I’ve built a freelance career collaborating with leading floral studios and event professionals, creating bespoke floral designs for weddings and events across Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, New York, South Carolina, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.

My work is rooted in intentional design - bringing together texture, color, and form to reflect each client’s unique style. I’m passionate about helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments through thoughtfully crafted floral experiences.
